“ My colleagues and I were thrilled to come across this gem on a recent work trip from Berlin. They have a wide range of authentic Korean dishes that don’t compromise on flavour (including 감자탕, 갈비탕, 뚝배기불고기.. 정말 다 맛있어요) and the homemade kimchi is a must-try! We ordered so much and ate it with such gusto that we forgot to take photos before we rolled out of there... but we’re already looking forward to our next work trip so we can come back and try even more dishes. Thank you for the wonderful service and the delicious meal, it totally made our trip! ”
“ The food was incredibly delicious. We came around 8PM and it was quite busy but we booked a table in advance. We placed our orders and the food came within 20 minutes. The server was really friendly and patient and explained the menu to us. The meal itself was hearty and very filling. As a big eater, I was having a hard time finishing this (picture attached). Forgot its name, but it’s beef with glass noodles, broth and veggies. There is plenty of street parking after 5.30PM. There are restrictions before then (free on weekends). Practically empty and free bays opposite the restaurant and single yellow right outside. ”
“ This restaurant certainly won’t disappoint if you are looking for an authentic Korean place! Located a short bus journey from Canary Wharf this restaurant set in a quiet area in Isle of Dogs and offers an extensive menu of Korean dishes. Totally spoiled by choices me and my friend finally settled on the spicy pork bibimbap, Galbi-tang (Beef short rib soup) and Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) which arrived fairly quickly. The spicy rice cakes are chewy and I would say mild-medium spicy which I can tolerate, and the Galbi-tang is such the perfect dish to have at cold days - warming and the meat is so soft that it literally falls off from the bone easily. Can’t comment much on the bibimbap as I only have a bite but it does taste really good too. The environment at the restaurant is really nice too, tables placed not too crowded together and friendly staff so it’s a good spot to drop by for meals. Certainly will revisit! ”
“ I have no notes for this place !! The best Korean food I’ve had after trying so many spots in London! It’s a small restaurant but big enough to always get a table for a small group without a reservation. Apart from the seafood pancake which wasn’t as crispy as I’d like it to be (preferred the kimchi pancake personally), every single dish is absolutely delicious! The smokiness you get in the japchae and dak galbi is to DIE for, the budae jjigae (Army stew) was so comforting in the winter and ofc the Korean fried chicken (yangnyeom) is boneless with the perfect, most generous, ratio of chicken to crispy coating the service here and ambience give it a very cosy feel - their playlist is always on point too! 10/10 recommend to anyone that’s looking for some decently priced Korean food ”
“ I would give 10 stars to this restaurant. The first time I tried it was online. The second time, I dined it. In both instance, I kept on praising how good the food was (korean fried chicken and tteokbokki). I particularly like the tteokbokki because it is cooked perfectly. It is not too soft and not too hard. The quality of the tteokbokki is also not very sticky. It does not stick to the roof of my mouth. I am definitely recommending this to my friends and will always go back. It reminds me of my favorite fried chicken in the Philippines. Kudos to the owners, the chefs, and the service crew! ”
“ Such amazing food and service at this Restuarant which serves authentic Korean food. The best we have had so far in UK. Their Korean fried chicken and Korean pancakes were spot on with flavours. Will definitely return ”
“ Very snug venue therefore was served seconds after entering. Waitress was very helpful when asked about various things such as how big the portion size was for the hotpot; she actually brought out the pot to indicate the size. The food was very tasty and actually better than a lot of Korean restaurants in Central London for a portion of the usual price. Great VFM and would return. Would recommend the tofu with pork kimchi. Ordered soju and beer and the waitress was happy to mix our drinks for us. Generally, above and beyond service. ”
“ I had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious. The Jajangmyeon had a rich and savory flavor, with perfectly cooked noodles and a generous portion of toppings. The kimchi pancake was crispy on the outside and full of flavor, paired well with the dipping sauce. The side dishes, especially the fried chicken bites, were also delightful and added a nice variety to the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, and the service was prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Korean food! ”
